Kaarel Holm was laid off for looking for a new job and felt that he was treated unfairly.


He created a discrete recruitment app, MeetFrank, for passive job seekers to look elsewhere without risking their current employment.


MeetFrank notifies the user of job offers on the market and facilitates an introduction straight to the employer without divulging the user's identity.


 

"I cannot remember the exact reason for getting fired, but it did involve a lot of drama", Kaarel Holm recalls.

He'd been in his job for some 18 months, and a difference of opinion as to the company's future direction meant he'd started to video permainan kartu remi look around.

"For my employer the fact that I was looking at other jobs was a major breach of trust. But for me, the idea of being locked in was a no-go."
